Protect and grow our workforce without hurting manufacturers
America was built on hard work, grit and determination. These characteristics are an essential piece of the American Dream and still stand strong within the manufacturing community today.
Manufacturers in the U.S. need a strong workforce of high-quality and highly-skilled individuals to compete and succeed globally, and American workers need the right skills to find good paying jobs and to advance in the workplace. Manufacturers and employees must work together in their communities to succeed in today’s advanced manufacturing operations, and are ready to work with Congress and the Trump Administration on legislative solutions that ensure the next generation of life-changing technologies is manufactured in the United States.
Over the past several years, regulations from federal agencies created uncertainty between employers and employees. Manufacturers want the safest and most productive workplace possible; they don’t want Washington mandates telling them how they should run their businesses or preventing them from giving their employees all the facts when it comes to labor issues.
Manufacturers, employees and government should work together to create a fair system that rewards American hard work and ingenuity.
