With over 12 million men and women who make things in the United States, manufacturers have the power to shape the outcomes of Election Day. With November 8 less than two months away, it’s important that all manufacturers register to vote, and help elect candidates that will support and prioritize initiatives to expand manufacturing opportunities and American jobs.
Today’s process of registering to vote is much simpler from what it was a decade ago. This year, Employee Voter Registration Week is September 26-30, and the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) is teaming up with TurboVote, an online voter registration tool, to make the voter registration process for manufacturers less time consuming and easier to complete with just a few clicks.
After registering, manufacturing employees can visit the NAM Election Center website, which offers access to voter resources, election news and information on issues crucial to manufacturing.
From trade, to health care, to infrastructure, the policies that are made in the next four to eight years will impact manufacturers across the country for years to come. Manufacturers, register to vote today!
