Manufacturing rebounding, reforming in the Granite State

New Hampshire is forecast to see a net gain of nearly 250 manufacturing jobs over the two years ending in late 2018, but manufacturing remains down nearly 10,000 jobs in that sector since before the Great Recession hit, state figures show. 

More than 1,600 open manufacturing positions — often reflecting the replacement of an aging industry — were advertised online between July and August, according to Anita Josten, a research analyst with the state Economic and Labor Market Information Bureau.
