Invest in Our Nation's Infrastructure

Facts

Few things conjure up images of America like the open road. An open road equals freedom and endless possibilities—the same things that make America great. Our roads and highways keep us connected to our jobs and our friends and families. They also allow manufacturers to transport products to customers in the United States and abroad.

But take a closer look and you will see that our highways are crumbling and our bridges are deteriorating. For the past decade, Congress sat back and watched as America’s transportation infrastructure fell behind.

Solution

This year, we have hope for real progress. President Trump made infrastructure a cornerstone of his campaign, understanding that investment not only means modernizing our roads and bridges, but lots of good, high paying jobs for hardworking Americans. We must invest in our nation’s infrastructure to ensure manufacturers can move goods to market efficiently, grow the nation's economy, to keep our families safe and to offer us all the freedom of mobility.

Let's begin the process of making our infrastructure strong for generations to come. Manufacturers stand by the president’s commitment to infrastructure investment, and we plan to hold our elected representatives accountable to work toward a long term solution.
