During President Donald Trump’s first 100 days in office, he has followed through on his promises to roll back some of the most burdensome, overly complex and costly regulations that are preventing manufacturers from growing and hiring new employees.
Specifically, President Trump has:
Paved the way to reduce the job-crushing regulatory burden unlike any previous president | ![]() |
Directed repeal of existing regulations before issuing new rules | ![]() |
Approved the Dakota Access and Keystone XL pipelines to create jobs and reduce energy costs | ![]() |
Expedited approval of manufacturing facility construction | ![]() |
Removed oppressive rules that obstructed energy development and infrastructure | ![]() |
Rolled back unfair labor and EPA regulations | ![]() |
Led the charge to roll back harmful Obamacare mandates | ![]() |
As a result, 93 percent of manufacturers surveyed by the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) have a positive outlook on the economy. The 12 million men and women who make things in America thank President Trump for cutting red tape and eliminating duplicative and unnecessary regulations for manufacturers in the U.S. There is still a lot of work to be done, but manufacturers will continue to work with President Trump and Congress to ensure America is the greatest place in the world to manufacture.
